The Life I Was Never Supposed to Have

My memoir tells the story of a little girl growing up in rural Jamaica who dared to dream beyond the limitations of her circumstances. It is a deeply personal journey through hardship, perseverance, sacrifice, and the pursuit of education and a better future.

From childhood experiences that tested my resolve to the pursuit of education and a career in nursing, this is a story about holding on to dignity, finding possibility, and refusing to let difficult beginnings write the ending.

Why I Write

Through my books, I hope to inspire readers to recognize their own strength, embrace their journeys, and never surrender the possibility of becoming more than their circumstances suggest.

These are more than stories of survival. They are stories of possibility, transformation, and the courage to become.
